"Baku Declaration" adopted at the first meeting of BSEC tourism education institutions

On April 23, the "Baku Declaration" was adopted at the conclusion of the First Meeting of Tourism Education Institutions of BSEC Member States, co-organized by the State Tourism Agency of Azerbaijan and the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC).

The declaration highlights the expansion of cooperation in various aspects of tourism education, including research and information exchange, promotion of cultural heritage, tourism innovations, and the commitment to holding this meeting on a regular basis in the future.

During the roundtable discussions held within the event, participants explored opportunities for expanding partnerships in tourism education, developing joint training programs, and establishing a unified network of tourism education institutions among BSEC member states.

The event, which commenced on April 22, brought together official representatives and tourism education institution delegates from 11 BSEC member states, including Azerbaijan, Turkey, Russia, Albania, Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, Moldova, Romania, Serbia, and Ukraine. Representatives from the UN Tourism also took part in the discussions.
